Pest and wildlife pressure in Lake George

Eco Haven Pest Control helps Lake George, NY homeowners, seasonal camps, rental cabins, and lake-adjacent properties in ZIP 12845 with free inspections, transparent pricing, eco-conscious pest service, and humane wildlife exclusion guidance.

Pest pressure around the Lake George shoreline

Lake George properties see pest activity shaped by nearby water, wooded edges, older structures, and seasonal occupancy. Ants, mice, wasps, ticks, mosquitoes, spiders, fall invaders, roaches, fleas, and occasional pantry or structural pests can all become more noticeable as weather, moisture, and human activity change through the year.

2

Built for camps, cabins, rentals, and year-round homes

Seasonal camps, rental cabins, and lake-adjacent homes can go from quiet to occupied quickly, which makes small pest conditions easier to miss until guests or family arrive. Eco Haven starts with a careful inspection so recommendations are based on what is happening at the property, not a one-size-fits-all treatment.

3

Warren County conditions that matter in Lake George

The Lake George shoreline and southern Adirondack foothills create a mix of moisture, shade, leaf litter, wood-to-ground contact, and wildlife movement. In this setting, deer ticks and mosquitoes near the water, carpenter ants in older camps and cabins, and mice moving indoors as the season turns are common concerns.

4

Wildlife concerns are handled with timing and rules in mind

Lake George homes can experience activity from mice, squirrels, bats, raccoons, skunks, and other nuisance wildlife depending on season and property conditions. Wildlife work begins with inspection and documentation, then moves into humane, timing-aware, rule-aware exclusion and prevention recommendations. We do not promise relocation outcomes.

5

Nearby service from Fort Edward and surrounding towns

Eco Haven is based in Fort Edward, about 13 miles southeast of Lake George, making the village and nearby served communities practical to reach. We also serve nearby Diamond Point, about 3.9 miles away, Warrensburg about 5.8 miles away, Queensbury about 6 miles away, West Fort Ann about 7 miles away, and Athol about 8 miles away.

Our approach in Lake George

Protect the structure, reduce the attractants, and plan for the season

Lake George pest control works best when it reflects the property’s setting. A year-round home near wooded edges, a summer cabin close to the water, and a rental that sits vacant between guest stays can all face different pest patterns.

Eco Haven’s point of view is simple: inspect before recommending, use eco-conscious solutions where appropriate, communicate pricing clearly, and focus on the conditions that let pests or wildlife return. That prevention mindset is especially important along the Lake George shoreline and southern Adirondack foothills, where moisture, shade, older construction, and seasonal use can quickly change what a property needs.

Our Process

Simple steps. Long-term protection.

1

Inspect

We look at the home, camp, rental cabin, or exterior grounds to identify pest activity, moisture and attractant conditions, access gaps, nesting areas, and seasonal pressure points.

2

Plan

You receive straightforward findings and a recommended path that may include targeted pest service, sanitation or moisture guidance, monitoring, and humane wildlife exclusion options where appropriate.

3

Prevent

We help reduce repeat activity with sealing guidance, exterior maintenance notes, and long-term prevention steps suited to lake-adjacent and wooded Warren County properties.

Proof & Reviews

Behind the work and customer reviews

Inspection-first service, clear next steps, and real customer feedback in one place.

Seasonal cabin readiness

For Lake George camps and cabins, inspection before heavy occupancy can identify ant trails, wasp activity, mice signs, and moisture conditions before they become a guest-facing issue.

Water-adjacent yard comfort

For properties near the water, tick and mosquito pressure can change quickly with shade, vegetation, and standing moisture. A property-specific plan helps focus service where activity is most likely.

Attic and roofline protection

For wooded or lake-adjacent homes, bats, squirrels, and raccoons may test soffits, vents, and roofline gaps. Inspection and exclusion guidance help reduce access opportunities.

Absolutely fantastic! I had a raccoon wandering my property that had gotten stuck in a snap trap. DEC wouldn't help, APD wouldn't help, I literally made 25 other calls this morning to companies and agencies that could not care less about the poor thing. Jake immediately offered advice and provided contacts for a rehabilitation agency that might be able to respond more quickly. A++ customer service! Situation resolved and raccoon is away safely. They made a loyal customer today!

5-Star Review for Eco Haven Pest Control We recently had Jake (the owner) from Eco Haven Pest Control come out to our home in Queensbury to inspect for a bat issue. From the moment he arrived, he was timely, professional, thorough, and clearly very knowledgeable about wildlife removal. What really stood out was his ability to locate the exact source of the problem—something no other company we called had been able to do.He took the time to carefully check all potential entry points and gave us a clear explanation of what he found. His attention to detail and expertise gave us a lot of confidence that he truly knew what he was doing. We would absolutely recommend Jake at Eco Haven Pest Control to anyone dealing with bats or other pest/wildlife issues. If you’re looking for a company that goes above and beyond, this is the one.
